Apple Yarns’ STASH BUSTER 2025 Sale Details

The inventory sheet and contract will be downloaded to your email provided. Please continue as if to purchase. Click the Add to Cart Button, This is FREE and no payment information is required.

If you have any problems please email us at shop@appleyarns.com and we will email the information to you directly. Please put STASH BUSTER in the subject line.

July 1- 31, bring in your yarn, books, needles, notions, etc. in 1 or 2 gallon clear resealable bags (ziplock).  Books do not need to be in bags.                                                

  • How to package - It is best to group your yarns by color, manufacturer, or project idea. Yarn does not have to be full skeins. For example, you might want to put leftover Cascade 220 in a bag; a felter is sure to love this collection.
  • Pricing suggestion – price the lowest amount you are comfortable with. After cleaning out your stash you don’t want something not to sell.

August 1 - September 1st, Apple Yarns is filled with Stash Buster savings.  Tip, it is worth coming in many times as the stash is always rotating.  Apple Yarns is open during regular hours.

Mon - Fri 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 11am to 4pm

September 10th - Unsold stash and Stash Buster (SB) certificates are ready to pick up. September 17th – All items must be picked up or they will be donated.

Guidelines

  • All stash must fit into 1 or 2 gallon clear resealable bags (ziploc).  One label per bag.  Minimum $5 price per bag
  • You receive 50% of the value sold in an SB Certificate back to Apple Yarns; certificates expire June 15, 2026. 
  • Stash Buster yarns cannot be wound at Apple Yarns.
  • Apple Yarns is not responsible for lost SB certificates or stolen products.
  • SB certificates have no cash value and cannot be claimed for more than $100 in a month.

A Way Out!

Over the years I have collected quite the variety of gorgeous yarns with project possibility dreams in mind. Time and skill being a limiting factor, I cannot knit up all I have, and complicating things, I inherited my mother’s stash as well! She was a knitting teacher at a community college for 30 years! And. . .new yarn are being created all the time and tempting the collection to grow. Apple Yarn Stash Sale has been the perfect way to thin my holdings — including beautiful and some rare books! Packaging and pricing each year has allowed me to “pass on” yarns to fellow knitters. It seems easier to let go on yarns I hoard knowing someone else has chosen it and will love it, too! Easy to log and bag up skeins, needles, books, etc. using the shop forms. They keep track good track of it all!

Attachment was unreadable for me

The Stash Builder attachment in the website link provided in the email was a .pages format. This format can be read only if the customer has an Apple operating system with Pages software. I use a pc as my main computer.
Recommendation: convert Apple Pages formatted documents to a pdf format which is readable by all word processing software programs I have used. Thank you! Pam
